If I could go back in time and talk to the 3-year-old boy in the first photo — standing unsure and unaware of what life would bring — I would kneel down, look him in the eyes, and say:
“Don’t be afraid. It’s going to be okay. Your future is bright.” 🌟

To the 12-year-old me in the second photo — smiling wide but carrying burdens far beyond his age — I would whisper,
“Keep going. God sees you. The hunger, the long walks to school, the broken pencils, the prayers… none of it is wasted.”

And now at 39, I look back with tears and gratitude. I didn’t get here alone. I am standing on the shoulders of people who gave, believed, and sacrificed. My story is one of God’s grace, family’s love, and strangers who became destiny changers. That little boy never imagined he would one day be a pastor, a husband, a father, and a leader helping send children back to school through Kingdom Legacy Ministries — kids just like him.

If you’re reading this, maybe you’ve felt like that little boy too — uncertain, overlooked, or afraid of the unknown. Let me be the voice to tell you today: Don’t be afraid. It’s going to be okay. Your future is bright.

How about you?
If you could speak to your younger self — whether at 3, 12, or 20 — what would you say?

👇 Drop it in the comments. I’d love to read it.
