Cue all of the happy tears!! Thank you, thank you, thank you all all of you who gave to the KLM Christmas Project this year. 270 boxes were given this week to our sweeties across the seas. This is a glimpse into what it looked like and the gratitude felt by our leaders on the ground, the kids, and the parents in our community. We had some amazing helpers and our youth did a great job supporting the wrapping, stuffing, and handing out of the boxes. For some, this will have been the first time they have ever received a pair of brand new sandals or a new shirt….for some, we will have to explain the difference between toothpaste and candy because they’ve never had it to brush their teeth before….to some- a toy that is their own has helped them to be able to open up and hear the Gospel in a new way….God hears…God cares….God loves….Thank you to everyone who continues to help make this possible- we are humbled by your generosity and love in this effort to reach out with hope to this community.
